Meet Tanisha
I learned how business works.
Then I learned what business was leaving out.
Before I built Your Other Mind, I spent 15 years inside growth, operations, implementation, business development, systems, and process improvement.
I worked inside complex companies. Led teams. Managed operations. Found expensive problems hiding inside processes. Built systems that made businesses work better.
I also went to business school—twice—and earned my MBA.
I know traditional business strategy.
And I also know it isn't the whole story.
The story behind Your Other Mind
I didn’t arrive at business through coaching.
I was trained in it.
I worked inside it.
I led within it.
My career has taken me through companies like Amazon, AvantStay, and Deliv, through consulting, entrepreneurship, and eventually into building Your Other Mind.
I've worked across operations spanning hundreds of properties, thousands of service providers, launches, teams, systems, growth, and implementation.
I've helped uncover hundreds of thousands of dollars in operational exposure. I've built processes that reduced inefficiency. And through consulting, I've helped businesses increase revenue and improve the way they operate.
So when I talk about systems, execution, growth, leadership, and infrastructure, I'm not talking about theory.
I've spent my career understanding how businesses actually work.
But eventually I started noticing something traditional business strategy couldn't fully explain.
The shift
Some of the most important intelligence a founder possesses isn’t taught in business school.
There was the strategy I had been trained to see.
- The numbers.
- The operations.
- The process.
- The people.
- The execution.
And then there was another kind of intelligence.
The knowing before the evidence arrived.
The ability to sense what was off.
The ideas that didn't always make sense on paper yet.
The spiritual and ancestral intelligence that had always been part of how I moved through the world—but that traditional business taught us to leave outside the room.
And I started wondering
